Hathway Cable and Datacom trades in red on reporting 18% fall in Q1 consolidated net profit

Hathway Cable & Datacom is currently trading at Rs. 23.05, down by 1.85 points or 7.43% from its previous closing of Rs. 24.90 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 24.52 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 24.52 and Rs. 22.70 respectively. So far 2773966 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 27.90 on 06-Feb-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 14.91 on 18-Jul-2023.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 25.66 and Rs. 22.70 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 4096.02 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 75.00%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 4.96% and 20.04% respectively.

Hathway Cable and Datacom has reported 18.28% fall in its net profit at Rs 16.05 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2024 as compared to Rs 19.64 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company decreased by 3.98% at Rs 169.87 crore for Q1FY25 as compared to Rs 176.92 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On consolidated basis, the company has reported 18.07% fall in net profit at Rs 18.32 crore for Q1FY25 as compared to Rs 22.36 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company decreased by 1.69% at Rs 524.36 crore for Q1FY25 as compared to Rs 533.37 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
