Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) organised the flower show at Sabarmati Riverfront on January 05. The flower show attracted a large number of visitors, tourists and locals. Seasonal and exotic flowers, plants, saplings, vegetable plants, etc from across the globe are displayed. At the flower show, visitors witnessed nearly 100 rose varieties from Kashmir and other parts of the country. This year’s main themes are G20, U20, Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, Olympics and Yoga. This annual event was started in 2013 to make people aware of horticulture, nature and the environment.
