Godrej Properties soars on emerging as largest listed residential real estate developer in 2025

Godrej Properties is currently trading at Rs. 1931.85, up by 60.20 points or 3.22% from its previous closing of Rs. 1871.65 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1889.05 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1939.80 and Rs. 1882.00 respectively. So far 16840 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 2522.55 on 05-Feb-2025 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1851.00 on 14-Jan-2026.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 2091.85 and Rs. 1851.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 57946.08 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 47.17%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 38.91% and 13.91% respectively.

Godrej Properties (GPL) has emerged as the largest listed residential real estate developer in India in Calendar Year 2025 for the second consecutive year, based on key operating metrics of booking value and cash collections.

During CY 2025, GPL sold 16,428 homes with a total saleable area of 27.26 million sq. ft., supported by 41 successful project launches across India. Booking value grew 19% year-on-year to Rs 34,171 crore, representing a CAGR of approximately 44% between CY 2022 and CY 2025. Collections for the year increased 28% to Rs 18,979 crore, translating into a three-year CAGR of 35%.  GPL delivered consistent quarterly performance throughout the year, recording booking value of over Rs 7,000 crore in each of the four quarters of CY 2025. The company’s sales were well diversified geographically, with key contributions from major residential markets: MMR (Rs 9,677 crore), NCR (Rs 9,348 crore), Bengaluru (Rs 6,566 crore), Pune (Rs 4,083 crore), and Hyderabad (Rs 3,052 crore). This performance was driven by a broad and diversified portfolio, with 11 individual projects each generating booking value in excess of Rs 1,000 crore during the year.

In the current financial year to date (FY26 YTD), GPL has recorded booking value of Rs 24,008 crore, representing a year-on-year growth of 25%, and collections of Rs 12,018 crore, growing 19% year-on-year. In the most recent quarter, Q3 FY26, GPL recorded booking value of Rs 8,421 crore, reflecting a year-on-year growth of 55%, and collections of Rs 4,282 crore, up 40% year-on-year. 

This strong performance across regions and projects reflects GPL’s ability to scale its operations while maintaining a sharp focus on quality, disciplined execution, and customer centricity.
