GMR Airports Infrastructure rises on reporting 7% growth in passenger traffic during May 2024

GMR Airports Infrastructure is currently trading at Rs. 98.14, up by 0.31 points or 0.32% from its previous closing of Rs. 97.83 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 98.79 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 98.79 and Rs. 95.50 respectively. So far 1331313 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 98.00 on 18-Jun-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 41.29 on 26-Jun-2023.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 98.79 and Rs. 89.36 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 59122.08 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 59.07%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 32.85% and 8.08% respectively.

GMR Airports Infrastructure has reported 7% year-on-year (Y-o-Y) growth in passenger traffic to 10,842,452 in May 2024. For the same period, aircraft movements grew 6% Year-on-Year to 69,055. 

Delhi Airport witnessed passenger traffic at 6,543,981, 8% Y-o-Y increase, followed by Hyderabad at 2,391,056, up 11% and Goa's MOPA at 398,556, up 18% in May. 

In terms of aircraft movement, Delhi Airport witnessed 37,960 aircraft movement in May, while Hyderabad saw 15,861 aircraft movement.
