Globus Spirits surges on launching new brands in Uttar Pradesh

Globus Spirits is currently trading at Rs. 894.40, up by 18.50 points or 2.11% from its previous closing of Rs. 875.90 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 878.85 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 908.90 and Rs. 878.85 respectively. So far 10979 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1373.35 on 17-Sep-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 656.10 on 28-Mar-2024.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 944.95 and Rs. 859.50 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 2614.92 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 50.90%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 11.51% and 37.59% respectively.

Globus Spirits has launched its brands Globus Spirits Shola Shabnam & Globus Spirits Nimboo in Uttar Pradesh (UP) priced at Rs 50-70 for 180 ml available in aseptic brick packs. The entry into this segment and in this state demonstrates the commitment of the company to growing its share of business in the state of Uttar Pradesh. This segment of the industry in UP has a volume of over 100 million cases per annum and has doubled over the last three years. The brands will be manufactured at the company’s Lakhimpur Kheri bottling unit.

Globus Spirits (the Group) is primarily engaged in the business of manufacture and sale of Indian Made Indian Liquor (IMIL), Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL), Bulk Alcohol hand sanitizer and Franchise Bottling.
