FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per September 06 data: NSDL

The FIIs as per Friday's data were net sellers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 17879.58 crore against gross selling of Rs 18783.77 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 904.19 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 473.16 crore with gross sales of Rs 701.27 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 228.11 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net sellers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 52.53 crore, they stood at net sellers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 35.00 crore and net sellers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 140.58 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 81.86 crore against gross selling of Rs 43.36 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 38.50 crore in hybrid segment.
