FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per October 9 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Tuesday's data were net sellers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 10109.27 crore against gross selling of Rs 13667.63 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 3558.36 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 1422.51 crore with gross sales of Rs 2098.57 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 676.06 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net sellers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 234.29 crore, they stood at net buyers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 229.33 crore and net sellers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 671.10 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 12.06 crore against gross selling of Rs 6.94 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 5.12 crore in hybrid segment.
