FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per March 01 data: NSDL

The FIIs as per Friday's data were net buyers in equity segment, while they were net sellers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL. 

In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 57371.12 crore against gross selling of Rs 53169.81 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 4201.31 crore in equities.

In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 1267.21 crore with gross sales of Rs 1400.96 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 133.75 crore in debt.

In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 101.26 crore against gross selling of Rs 63.60 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 37.66 crore in hybrid segment.
