FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per October 8 data: NSDL

The FIIs as per Tuesday's data were net sellers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 14936.79 crore against gross selling of Rs 23063.49 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 8126.70 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 2083.18 crore with gross sales of Rs 8580.97 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 6497.79 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net sellers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 1142.02 crore, they stood at net sellers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 1052.95 crore and net sellers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 4302.82 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 58.02 crore against gross selling of Rs 24.64 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 33.38 crore in hybrid segment.
