FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per October 4 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Friday's data were net sellers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 17725.67 crore against gross selling of Rs 33232.42 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 15506.75 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 3950.27 crore with gross sales of Rs 4448.75 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 498.48 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net sellers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 908.34 crore, they stood at net buyers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 355.21 crore and net buyers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 54.65 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 104.90 crore against gross selling of Rs 39.23 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 65.67 crore in hybrid segment.
