FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per October 17 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Thursday's data were net sellers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 15988.91 crore against gross selling of Rs 18552.71 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 2563.80 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 1209.96 crore with gross sales of Rs 1599.61 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 389.65 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net sellers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 69.69 crore, they stood at net sellers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 65.00 crore and net sellers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 254.96 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 60.82 crore against gross selling of Rs 18.11 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 42.71 crore in hybrid segment.
