FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per October 10 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Thursday's data were net sellers in equity segments, while net buyers in debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 12824.15 crore against gross selling of Rs 16503.41 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 3679.26 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 5616.54 crore with gross sales of Rs 1824.86 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 3791.68 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 263.12 crore, they stood at net sellers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 276.55 crore, while net buyers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 3805.11 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 633.56 crore against gross selling of Rs 14.62 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 618.94 crore in hybrid segment.
