FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per October 03 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Thursday's data were net sellers in equity segments, while net buyers in debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 12922.56 crore against gross selling of Rs 18131.14 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 5208.58 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 4760.29 crore with gross sales of Rs 2582.39 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 2177.9 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net sellers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 139.10 crore, they stood at net sellers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 167.25 crore, while net buyers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 2484.25 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 26.31 crore against gross selling of Rs 23.67 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 2.64 crore in hybrid segment.
