FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per January 18 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Thursday's data were net sellers in equity segment, while they were net buyers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 17204.13 crore against gross selling of Rs 27686.77 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 10482.64 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 1700.41 crore with gross sales of Rs 784.97 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 915.44 crore in debt.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 198.88 crore against gross selling of Rs 179.80 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 19.08 crore in hybrid segment.
