FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per December 9 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Monday’s data were net sellers in equity segment, while net buyers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 13439.41 crore against gross selling of Rs 14225.54 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 786.13 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 6437.42 crore with gross sales of Rs 2003.15 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 4434.27 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 2851.48 crore, they stood at net buyers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 104.62 crore, while net buyers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 1478.17 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 26.67 crore against gross selling of Rs 9.88 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 16.79 crore in hybrid segment.
