FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per October 16 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Friday's data were net sellers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 13806.57 crore against gross selling of Rs 17952.41 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 4145.84 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 765.17 crore with gross sales of Rs 1836.47 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 1071.30 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 9.45 crore, while they were net sellers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 212.20 crore and in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 868.55 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 25.44 crore against gross selling of Rs 32.53 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 7.09 crore in hybrid segment.
