The FIIs as per Tuesday's data were net buyers in both equity and debt-general limit segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 18158.61 crore against gross selling of Rs 12398.80 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 5759.81 crore in equities.
In the debt-general limit segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 481.18 crore with gross sales of Rs 444.19 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 36.99 crore in debt.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 184.96 crore against gross selling of Rs 6.64 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 178.32 crore in hybrid segment.
