FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per May 15 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Thursday's data were net buyers in equity segment, while they were net sellers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 15095.05 crore against gross selling of Rs 14164.50 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 930.55 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 2317.32 crore with gross sales of Rs 3989.49 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 1672.17 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net sellers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 757.31 crore, they stood at net sellers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 424.86 crore, while net sellers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 490 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 39.60 crore against gross selling of Rs 23.90 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 15.70 crore in hybrid segment
