FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per September 04 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Friday's data were net sellers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 13720.29 crore against gross selling of Rs 16540.95 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 2820.66 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 1951.21 crore with gross sales of Rs 2571.36 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 620.15 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 88.49 crore, while they were net sellers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 1.00 crore and in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 707.64 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 670.55 crore against gross selling of Rs 77.57 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 592.98 crore in hybrid segment.
