FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per May 02 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Thursday's data were net buyers in equity segment, while they were net sellers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 21768.10 crore against gross selling of Rs 19917.08 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 1851.02 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 941.70 crore with gross sales of Rs 1209.99 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 268.29 crore in debt.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 24.69 crore against gross selling of Rs 19.77 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 4.92 crore in hybrid segment.
