FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per December 17 data: NSDL

The FIIs as per Tuesday’s data were net buyers in both equity and debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.  

In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 12259.75 crore against gross selling of Rs 12070.65 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 189.10 crore in equities.

In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 4318.41 crore with gross sales of Rs 3251.32 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 1067.09 crore in debt.

Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 911.99 crore, they stood at net sellers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 650.66 crore, while net buyers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 805.76 crore.

In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 26.46 crore against gross selling of Rs 11.46 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 15.00 crore in hybrid segment.
