FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per December 12 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Thursday’s data were net buyers in equity segment, while net seller in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 12569.00 crore against gross selling of Rs 12374.25 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 194.75 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 2964.49 crore with gross sales of Rs 3254.33 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 289.84 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 1450.59 crore, they stood at net sellers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 246.44 crore, while net sellers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 1493.99 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 12.16 crore against gross selling of Rs 23.00 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 10.84 crore in hybrid segment.
