FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per August 09 data: NSDL

The FIIs as per Friday's data were net buyers in both equity and debt segments , according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 18414.40 crore against gross selling of Rs 17892.75 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 521.65 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 1546.21 crore with gross sales of Rs 1156.63 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 389.58 crore in debt.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 15.59 crore against gross selling of Rs 18.12 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 2.53 crore in hybrid segment.
