FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per August 04 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Tuesday's data were net buyers in equity segment, while they were net sellers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 13275.34 crore against gross selling of Rs 11843.89 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 1431.45 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 966.93 crore with gross sales of Rs 1506.38 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 539.45 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net sellers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 78.00 crore, they stood at net buyers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 10.42 crore, while net sellers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 471.87 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 19.88 crore against gross selling of Rs 101.56 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 81.68 crore in hybrid segment.
