FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per August 03 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Monday's data were net buyers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 20641.04 crore against gross selling of Rs 19290.02 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 1351.02 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 3451.81 crore with gross sales of Rs 2514.08 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 937.73 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net sellers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 484.72 crore, they stood at net buyers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 411.47 crore, while net buyers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 1010.98 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 16.44 crore against gross selling of Rs 63.35 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 46.91 crore in hybrid segment.
