Equitas Small Finance Bank gains on reporting 42% rise in total deposits during Q2FY24

Equitas Small Finance Bank is currently trading at Rs. 91.90, up by 0.54 points or 0.59% from its previous closing of Rs. 91.36 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 91.41 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 92.79 and Rs. 90.67 respectively. So far 120823 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 101.16 on 27-Jul-2023 and a 52 week low of Rs. 47.10 on 20-Oct-2022.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 94.39 and Rs. 89.17 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 10278.45 crore.

The Institutions and Non-Institutions held 64.42% and 35.58%, stake in the bank respectively.

Equitas Small Finance Bank has reported 42% rise in total deposits to Rs 30,839 crore (Provisional) as of September 30, 2023 (Q2FY24) as compared to Rs 21,693 crore as of September 30, 2022 and on quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) basis stood at Rs 27,709 crore as of June 2023. Its gross advances were up by 37% to Rs 31,231 crore (Provisional) in Q2FY24 as against Rs 22,779 crore as of September 30, 2022.  

However, its CASA fell marginally to Rs 10,349 crore as of September 30, 2023, as compared to Rs 10,423 crore on a yearly basis and on a quarterly basis stood at Rs 10,642 crore as of June 2023. CASA Ratio stood at 34% as of September 30, 2023 as compared to 38% as of June 30, 2023.
