DCM Shriram moves up on commissioning state-of the-art Hydrogen Peroxide plant in Gujarat
DCM Shriram is currently trading at Rs.1170.00, up by 25.10 points or 2.19% from its previous closing of Rs. 1144.90 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 1167.80 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1167.80 and Rs. 1134.60 respectively. So far 2645 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1187.00 on 08-Aug-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 840.15 on 28-Mar-2024.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1170.90 and Rs. 1075.60 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 17729.08 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 66.52%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 11.83% and 21.64% respectively.
DCM Shriram has commissioned its state-of the-art Hydrogen Peroxide (H2O2) plant of 52,500 TPA at its Chemical complex in Jhagadia, Bharuch, Gujarat on August 19, 2024. H2O2 will add to its chemicals business product porfolio and is a downstream to Hydrogen produced at the Chemicals complex. Hydrogen Peroxide has wide ranging applications from bleaching agent to water and waste water treatment, chemical synthesis, food processing, mining and metallurgy and environmental applications.
DCM Shriram runs two businesses energy intensive and agri business. The company is also the third largest manufacturer of Chlor-Alkali in the India. They have launched value added UPVC window system business under the Fenesta TM brand in India.
