CRISIL rises as its arm gets nod to incorporate wholly owned subsidiary in Canada

CRISIL is currently trading at Rs. 5399.55, up by 33.65 points or 0.63% from its previous closing of Rs. 5365.90 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 5380.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 5417.50 and Rs. 5362.65 respectively. So far 760 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 6955.40 on 31-Dec-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 3893.85 on 07-Apr-2025.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 5449.95 and Rs. 5307.80 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 39398.07 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 66.64%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 20.13% and 13.23% respectively.

CRISIL’s subsidiary -- Crisil Irevna UK’s board of directors has approved incorporation of a wholly owned subsidiary (WOS) by the name of ‘Crisil Canada Inc’ in Canada. The proposed WOS will complement the company’s existing portfolio of products and expand offerings to new markets and client segments. The incorporation is to be completed within 3 months.

The proposed WOS would be a step-down subsidiary of the company and would require approvals from relevant authorities as applicable, including but not limited to the Incorporation related approvals in Canada.
