Coal India rises on reporting 13% rise in Q2 consolidated net profit

Coal India has reported 18.48% fall in its net profit at Rs 2196.19 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2023 as compared to Rs 2694.00 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company decreased by 20.21% at Rs 2442.55 crore for Q2FY24 as compared to Rs 3061.07 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
On consolidated basis, the company has reported 12.73% rise in its net profit at Rs 6813.50 crore for Q2FY24 as compared to Rs 6043.99 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 10% at Rs 34760.30 crore for Q2FY24 as compared to Rs 31599.24 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
