CEAT soars on planning to make investment of up to Rs 2.74 crore in Tyresnmore
Ceat is currently trading at Rs. 3914.50, up by 59.50 points or 1.54% from its previous closing of Rs. 3855.00 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 3859.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 3929.45 and Rs. 3837.90 respectively. So far 1727 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 4431.60 on 23-Oct-2025 and a 52 week low of Rs. 3006.50 on 26-Aug-2025.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 3981.70 and Rs. 3,753.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 15892.64 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 47.29%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 37.44% and 15.27% respectively.
CEAT has approved an investment up to Rs 2.74 crore by way of subscription in Rights Issue of equity shares of Tyresnmore Online (Tyresnmore), a wholly owned subsidiary of the company. 22,447 Equity shares pursuant to the current investment would be allotted to the company by Tyresnmore latest by July 31, 2026. With the proposed current investment, the company’s shareholding in Tyresnmore remains 100%.
