Capri Global Capital edges higher on incorporating wholly owned subsidiary

Capri Global Capital is currently trading at Rs. 758.95, up by 1.80 points or 0.24% from its previous closing of Rs. 757.15 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 767.90 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 772.00 and Rs. 754.65 respectively. So far 63337 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 874.00 on 15-Jun-2023 and a 52 week low of Rs. 565.85 on 27-Mar-2023.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 781.95 and Rs. 752.25 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 15587.22 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 69.91%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 14.98% and 15.11% respectively.

Capri Global Capital has incorporated a new wholly owned subsidiary (‘WOS’) by the name Capri Loans Car Platform. The company has incorporated a WOS on October 16, 2023. The business of the new WOS is in line with the main line of business of the Company.

Earlier, the company had crossed Rs 2,000 crore milestone in Gold Loan AUM as of October 6, 2023. The AUM is inclusive of on-book AUM, colending AUM, and the AUM originated under the Business Correspondent model.

Capri Global Capital is engaged in the business of providing loans to Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), providing long term finance for construction of residential houses in India, retail Lending in India and in providing ancillary services related to the said business activities.
