BJP leader Pallab Lochan Das hails PM Narendra Modi for honouring tea garden workers
BJP leader Pallab Lochan Das on April 3 praised PM Narendra Modi for his gesture of plucking tea leaves, calling it a proud and unprecedented moment that reflects respect for tea garden labourers. He emphasized that ensuring dignity and better living conditions for tea workers is a key priority under the Prime Minister’s leadership. Das also expressed confidence in electoral success, stating that tea garden communities will play a decisive role in bringing the state government back to power with a strong majority.
“For the first time, a Prime Minister plucked tea leaves and this is a proud moment. The kind of respect he has towards the labourers of tea farms has never been witnessed before... He wants the people of tea farms to live with dignity and this is a major thing... We hope that under his leadership, we will be able to develop a prosperous Assam...,” said Pallab Lochan Das.
“We will definitely win with a huge majority. The people of the tea farms will play a major role in bringing the CM back to power once again...,” he added.
