Prime Minister Narendra Modi delivered a speech at a public rally in Nawada, Bihar, on April 07 where he expressed admiration for the region's history and legacy, particularly its association with Bihar and Magadha.
He went on to highlight Bihar's significance, citing its historical figures such as Chandragupta Maurya for bravery and Acharya Chanakya for intellectual prowess. “I salute the land of Bihar and Magadh. This great land of Magadh has the bravery of Chandragupta Maurya, the intellectual capacity of Acharya Chanakya and it can give direction to the country. This area is also the birthplace of Bihar Kesari Krishna Babu, the first CM of Bihar. Nawada is also the workplace of Loknayak Shri Jaiprakash Narayan. I respectfully bow to all these great personalities”, said Narendra Modi.
