BHEL rises on signing agreement with Hystar AS

Bharat Heavy Electricals is currently trading at Rs. 422.60, up by 2.85 points or 0.68% from its previous closing of Rs. 419.75 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 420.40 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 429.80 and Rs. 416.40 respectively. So far 247759 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 446.75 on 17-Jul-2026 and a 52 week low of Rs. 205.20 on 29-Aug-2025.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 429.80 and Rs. 400.25 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 147378.33 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 58.17%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 31.96% and 9.88% respectively.

Bharat Heavy Electricals (BHEL) has signed Strategic Collaboration Agreement (SCA) with Hystar AS, Norway for PEM Electrolyser Systems for Green Hydrogen projects.

This strategic tie-up shall enable phased indigenization and local manufacturing of PEM electrolyser systems for green hydrogen projects in India. Notably, BHEL has already entered into a Strategic Tie-up with thyssenkrupp nucera India for alkaline electrolyser systems in July 2026. This collaboration with Hystar for PEM electrolyser systems further strengthens BHEL’s position as one of the few Indian players capable of offering both alkaline and PEM electrolyser solutions to serve the country’s emerging green hydrogen market. 

Moreover, the collaboration will also strengthen BHEL’s project execution capabilities for green hydrogen projects in India. This will also enhance BHEL's contribution to National Green Hydrogen Mission and support the Government of India's Make in India initiative.
