Bharti Airtel surges on deploying additional sites in Mandsaur district to densify network

Bharti Airtel is currently trading at Rs. 1200.00, up by 6.15 points or 0.52% from its previous closing of Rs. 1193.85 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1207.10 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1213.05 and Rs. 1189.20 respectively. So far 1154382 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1213.05 on 07-Mar-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 738.70 on 29-Mar-2023.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1213.05 and Rs. 1118.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 723749.81 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 54.57%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 42.30% and 3.13% respectively.

Bharti Airtel has deployed additional sites in Mandsaur district to densify its network. Mandsaur district network enhancement project was undertaken across 871 villages covering 11.7 lakh rural population. Customers in the tehsils of Mandsaur, Bhanpura, Malhargarh, Garoth and Sitamau under Mandsaur districts will directly benefit from this network enhancement. 

The expansion will enable seamless access to high-speed connectivity that will ensure reliable mobile network for work, study and entertainment in rural Mandsaur. In this year alone, Airtel has doubled down on its commitment to the state and has invested additional capex to enhance its network connectivity for seamless experience on 4G, 5G, Broadband and Fiber. 

To expand coverage in rural villages in the state and to bring customers to enjoy the power of high-speed connectivity, the rural enhancement project covers across Madhya Pradesh including Indore, Ratlam, Neemuch, Dhar, Ujjain, Agar, Jhabua and Bhopal.
