Bharat Electronics shines on bagging order worth Rs 580 crore from Indian Army

Bharat Electronics is currently trading at Rs. 160.55, up by 4.35 points or 2.78% from its previous closing of Rs. 156.20 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 163.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 163.00 and Rs. 158.35 respectively. So far 1260419 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 163.00 on 7-Dec-2023 and a 52 week low of Rs. 87.00 on 30-Jan-2023.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 163.00 and Rs. 146.80 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 114178.75 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 51.14%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 41.37% and 7.50% respectively.

Bharat Electronics (BEL) has received an order of Rs 580 crore from Indian Army for AMC of Radars. This project will have participation of Indian electronics and associated industries, including MSMEs, which are sub-vendors of BEL.

The company has also received additional orders worth Rs 3,335 crore since the last disclosure on September 15, 2023 and the said orders pertain to AMC for AEW&C system (Airborne Early Warning & control), Uncooled TI sights, Software Defined Radios, SWIR pay load, AMC for IACCS, Passive Night Vision Binoculars etc.

BEL is a multi-product, multi-technology, multi-unit conglomerate with various products in the areas of military communication, radars, naval systems, C4I systems, weapon systems, homeland security, telecom & broadcast systems, electronic warfare, tank electronics, electro-optics, professional electronic components and solar photovoltaic systems.
