Dabur India declines on reporting 8% fall in Q4 consolidated net profit

Dabur India is currently trading at Rs. 469.60, down by 13.00 points or 2.69% from its previous closing of Rs. 482.60 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 474.95 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 478.60 and Rs. 461.95 respectively. So far 261750 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 672.00 on 17-Sep-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 420.05 on 07-Apr-2025.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 488.10 and Rs. 461.95 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 83245.79 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 66.27%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 28.36% and 5.37% respectively.
Dabur India has reported 11.52% fall in its net profit at Rs 250.54 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 283.15 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company decreased by 3.27% at Rs 2,083.26 crore for Q4FY25 as compared Rs 2,153.64 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
On consolidated basis, the company has reported 8.35% fall in its net profit at Rs 312.73 crore for fourth quarter ended March 31, 2025 as compared to Rs 341.22 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 0.94% at Rs 2,971.29 crore for Q4FY25 as compared Rs 2,943.49 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
For the year ended March 31, 2025, the company has reported 7.02% fall in its net profit at Rs 1,403.22 crore as compared to Rs 1,509.21 crore for the previous year. Total income of the company decreased by 0.32% at Rs 9,522.65 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 9,553.22 crore for year ended March 31, 2024.
For the year ended March 31, 2025, on the consolidated basis, the company has reported 3.91% fall in its net profit at Rs 1,740.42 crore as compared to Rs 1,811.31 crore for the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 1.76% at Rs 13,113.19 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 12,886.42 crore for year ended March 31, 2024.
