Berger Paints India declines on reporting 11% fall in Q1 consolidated net profit

Berger Paints India is currently trading at Rs. 561.05, down by 11.45 points or 2.00% from its previous closing of Rs. 572.50 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 572.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 572.00 and Rs. 556.20 respectively. So far 6320 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 629.60 on 17-Sep-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 437.80 on 30-Dec-2024.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 582.00 and Rs. 556.20 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 65523.29 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 74.98%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 16.04% and 8.98% respectively.
Berger Paints India has reported 3.85% decline in its net profit at Rs 293.76 crore for first quarter ended June 30, 2025 (Q1FY26) as compared to Rs 305.52 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 2.37% at Rs 2,890.15 crore for Q1FY26 as compared to Rs 2,823.13 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
On consolidated basis, the company has reported 11.01% decline in its net profit at Rs 314.63 crore for Q1FY26 as compared to Rs 353.56 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 3.26% at Rs 3,229.22 crore for Q1FY26 as compared to Rs 3,127.34 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
