Bank of Baroda jumps as its global deposits rise 9% in Q2FY25
Bank of Baroda is currently trading at Rs. 251.95, up by 6.90 points or 2.82% from its previous closing of Rs. 245.05 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 247.05 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 255.65 and Rs. 244.30 respectively. So far 1124130 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 298.45 on 03-Jun-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 187.95 on 26-Oct-2023.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 255.65 and Rs. 243.40 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 130447.61 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 63.97%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 27.48% and 8.55% respectively.
Bank of Baroda’s global deposits grew 9.11% to Rs 13,63,486 crore (Provisional) as of September 30, 2024 (Q2FY25), as compared to Rs 12,49,647 crore as of September 30, 2023 (on a yearly basis). On a quarterly basis, the global deposits stood at Rs 13,26,958 crore as of March 2024.
Its Global advances stood at Rs 11,43,323 crore (Provisional) as of September 30, 2024, posting a 11.60% rise in year-on-year (YoY) terms as against Rs 10,24,501 crore as of September 30, 2023 and on quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) basis, Global advances stood at Rs 10,90,506 crore as of March 2024. Domestic advances and Domestic Retail advances stood at Rs 9,39,128 crore and Rs 2,32,320 crore (Excluding pool purchase) (Provisional) respectively as of September 30, 2024.
