MARKET REVIEW

* Equity benchmarks rebounded on Wednesday, with the Sensex and Nifty breaking a four-session losing streak on the year’s final trading day.

* The Nifty closed near the 26,130 mark, driven by strength in energy and consumer durables stocks.

* The S&P BSE Sensex advanced 545.52 points or 0.64% to 85,220.60. The Nifty 50 index gained 190.75 points or 0.74% to 26,129.60. The 50 unit index slipped 0.91% in the past four sessions.

 

NIFTY FUT CHART

NIFTY FUT TECHNICAL OUTLOOK

* Nifty is expected to open on a positive note and likely to witness positive move during the day.

* On technical grounds, Nifty has an immediate Resistance at 26370. If Nifty closes above that, further upside can be expected towards 26450-26600 mark

* On the flip side 26170-26040 will act as strong support levels

 

BANK NIFTY FUT CHART

* Bank Nifty is expected to open on a positive note and likely to witness positive move during the day

* Bank Nifty’s next immediate resistance is around 60100 levels on the upside and on a decisive close above expect a rise to 60300-60580

* There is an immediate support at 59610-59340 levels.
