Bajaj Auto moves up on reporting 24% rise in January sales
Bajaj Auto is currently trading at Rs. 7729.95, up by 66.40 points or 0.87% from its previous closing of Rs. 7663.55 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 7689.25 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 7741.45 and Rs. 7663.55 respectively. So far 2343 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 7,741.45 on 01-Feb-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 3625.05 on 27-Feb-2023.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 7741.45 and Rs. 7475.05 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 217016.22 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 54.94%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 23.38% and 21.68% respectively.
Bajaj Auto has reported rise of 24% in total sales to 3,56,010 units in January 2024 as against 2,87,935 in the same month last year. Total domestic (2-WH + CV) sales increased by 31% to 2,30,043 units in January 2024 as compared to 1,75,210 units in January 2023. Total exports (2?WH + CV) increased by 12% to 1,25,967 units in January 2024 as compared to 1,12,725 units in January 2023.
Total domestic two-wheeler sales were up by 36% at 1,93,350 units in January 2024 as compared to 1,42,368 units in the year-ago month. Total domestic Commercial Vehicles sales stood at 36,693 units in January 2024 as against 32,842 units in January 2023, registering a rise of 12%.
