AVG Logistics soars on acquiring major stake in M/s Kaizen Logistics

AVG Logistics is currently trading at Rs. 241.40, up by 11.45 points or 4.98% from its previous closing of Rs. 229.95 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 241.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 241.40 and Rs. 240.95 respectively. So far 5172 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'T' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 636.45 on 03-Apr-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 200.55 on 18-Mar-2025.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 241.40 and Rs. 200.55 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 363.49 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 51.88%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 9.62% and 38.50% respectively.
AVG Logistics has completed the transaction by acquiring 99% share of M/s Kaizen Logistics, a partnership firm. The acquisition of Kaizen Logistics shall provide enhanced operational capabilities and an expanded footprint in key sectors, including FMCG, beverages, Metals and industrial Chemicals. The combined entity will have the opportunity to better serve its marquee customers with more robust and integrated logistics infrastructure. The cost of acquisition is Rs 0.485 crore.
AVG Logistics offers their customers services in three key areas like transportation whereby they provide point-to-point, less-than truck-load, time-definite transportation services; warehousing whereby they provide warehousing, distribution and cold-chain warehousing; and value-added Services including, temperature-controlled logistics, supply chain solutions and cargo handling services at integrated check posts.
