Avenue Supermarts rises on opening 12 new stores across India
Avenue Supermarts is currently trading at Rs. 4283.40, up by 11.80 points or 0.28% from its previous closing of Rs. 4271.60 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 4200.40 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 4312.50 and Rs. 4199.30 respectively. So far 83072 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 4916.30 on 04-Sep-2025 and a 52 week low of Rs. 3528.65 on 02-Mar-2026.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 4312.50 and Rs. 3780.20 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 278008.41 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 74.65%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 17.60% and 7.75% respectively.
Avenue Supermarts has opened 12 new stores across India on March 31, 2026. The newly opened stores are located in Daund, Pune (Maharashtra), Tiruvottiyur, Chennai (Tamil Nadu), SGBL Square Mall, Cuttack (Odisha), Kanpur Road, Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh), Omaxe Connaught Place Mall, Greater Noida (Uttar Pradesh), IMT Faridabad (Haryana), Dattawadi, Pune (Maharashtra), Sarkanda, Bilaspur (Chhattisgarh), Zundal, Gandhinagar (Gujarat), Singarwa, Ahmedabad (Gujarat), Kachimet, Nagpur (Maharashtra) and Avadi, Chennai (Tamil Nadu).
With these additions, the total number of stores as on date stands at 500.
