Avenue Supermarts inches up on opening new stores across India
Avenue Supermarts is currently trading at Rs. 3879.75, up by 2.70 points or 0.07% from its previous closing of Rs. 3877.05 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 3826.20 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 3903.50 and Rs. 3815.95 respectively. So far 20523 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 4916.30 on 04-Sep-2025 and a 52 week low of Rs. 3528.65 on 02-Mar-2026.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 3905.90 and Rs. 3528.65 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 251182.96 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 74.65%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 17.60% and 7.75% respectively.
Avenue Supermarts has opened eight new stores across India on March 8, 2026. The new stores are located at Modasa in Aravalli, Gujarat; Sancoale, Goa; Quark City in S.A.S. Nagar, Punjab; Adilabad in Telangana; Hubli in Dharwad, Karnataka; IMT Bawal in Rewari, Haryana; Vidisha in Madhya Pradesh; and Ajabpur in Dehradun, Uttarakhand.
With the opening of these stores, the total number of stores as on date stands at 461
