Ashok Leyland accelerates on reporting 30% rise in July sales
Ashok Leyland is currently trading at Rs. 171.15, up by 5.05 points or 3.04% from its previous closing of Rs. 166.10 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 169.95 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 172.00 and Rs. 169.45 respectively. So far 880342 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 215.35 on 11-Feb-2026 and a 52 week low of Rs. 115.00 on 11-Aug-2025.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 172.20 and Rs. 152.85 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1,00,971.56 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 51.51%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 36.51% and 11.99% respectively.
Ashok Leyland has reported 30% rise in its total sales, including exports, at 19,590 units in July 2026 as compared to 15,064 units in July 2025. During July 2026, the company’s Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) sales grew 32% year-on-year (Y-o-Y) to 7,320 units.
Further, its Medium and Heavy Commercial Vehicles (M&HCV) Trucks sales rose 47% to 9,809 units in July 2026 as compared to 6,667 units in previous year same month. However, M&HCV Bus sales decreased 14% to 2,461 units in July 2026 as compared to 2,862 units in July 2025.
