Antony Waste Handling Cell zooms as its arm bags contracts worth Rs 3,200 crore

Antony Waste Handling Cell is currently trading at Rs. 606.10, up by 27.35 points or 4.73% from its previous closing of Rs. 578.75 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 620.05 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 635.20 and Rs. 603.50 respectively. So far 9902 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 856.90 on 06-Nov-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 460.65 on 07-Mar-2025.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 635.20 and Rs. 574.30 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1749.76 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 46.09%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 16.77% and 37.14% respectively.
Antony Waste Handling Cell’s material subsidiary -- Antony Lara Enviro Solutions has secured two new contracts worth Rs 3,200 crore (Rs 1600 crore each) for development of Waste-to-Energy Plants each with a capacity of around 15 MW at the Kadapa Cluster and Kurnool Cluster in Andhra Pradesh. The contracts are awarded by New & Renewable Energy Development Corporation of Andhra Pradesh. Each project will have a construction period of around 24 months from the date of concession agreement signing, Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) execution, or land transfer whichever is later. The contract carries a concession period of 20 years.
