FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per August 24 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Monday's data were net buyers in equity segment, while they were net sellers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 15348.06 crore against gross selling of Rs 13373.61 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 1974.45 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 459.83 crore with gross sales of Rs 848.26 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 388.43 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net sellers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 379.95 crore, they stood at net buyers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 19.23 crore, while net sellers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 27.71 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 45.96 crore against gross selling of Rs 60.93 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 14.97 crore in hybrid segment.
