Antony Waste Handling Cell Secures Rs.908 Crore Contract for Municipal Solid Waste Collection & Transportation in Navi Mumbai
Antony Waste Handling Cell Limited (“AWHCL”), India’s leading integrated solid waste management company, proudly announces that its wholly owned subsidiary, AG Enviro Infra Projects Private Limited, has been awarded a Rs.908 crore contract for Door-to-Door Collection and Transportation (C&T) of Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) by Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC). The contract spans a nine-year concession period and marks another milestone in AWHCL's ongoing commitment to delivering world-class waste management services in Navi Mumbai.
This new contract underscores AWHCL’s role in managing approximately 760 tonnes of waste per day for a population of around 2.17 million, further solidifying its position as a trusted service provider. Over the next nine years, AWHCL will be responsible for Door-to-Door Collection and Transportation (C&T) of MSW under this ?908 crore contract, contributing to Navi Mumbai's reputation as one of India’s cleanest and most well-managed cities.
