Following the trailer launch of the upcoming film ‘Rautu Ka Raaz’, Starcast of the film, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Rajesh Kumar, in an exclusive interview with ANI on June 14, shared their candid moments on set and the infinite amount of enjoyment they did while shooting the film. The leading cast of the film also reminisced about their journey in the industry. 
Nawazuddin Siddiqui said, “The premises of this film is very beautiful for me. A kind of environment where people are very laid-back, even the police department but slowly and gradually how captivating it becomes that’s very interesting and secondly the character, slow characters, slow-thinkers, at a place where no crime has ever taken place to conceive a thriller is very interesting.” 
Rajesh Kumar said “I had two reasons one being that it’s a film and other being that I had to do it with Nawazuddin Siddiqui and the story where I fit in the character and then I felt that on one other than me can do this. We shot in a very quiet environment and our characters reflected the ambience of the mountains where we shot the film.”Produced by Zee Studios and Phat Phish Records and directed by Anand Surapur, the film also stars Atul Tiwari and Narayani Shastri in supporting roles and is set against the picturesque village of Rautu Ki Beli in Uttarakhand. On June 14, the makers unveiled the film's trailer. The film had its Gala Premiere at the 54th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) last year where it received a warm welcome and is now set for its OTT premiere on June 28 on ZEE5.
