ACME Solar operationalizes additional cumulative BESS capacity of 107.36 MW / 437.49 MWh in Rajasthan
ACME Solar Holdings Ltd (ACME Solar) through its subsidiaries has commissioned additional cumulative BESS capacity of 107.36 MW / 437.49 MWh across two key projects in Rajasthan as mentioned below. The commissioning of both these projects was successfully achieved on September 30, 2026 and the Commercial Operation Date (COD) for both projects shall be October 02, 2026. Following these milestones, the total operational BESS capacity of ACME Solar now stands at 4.96 GWh.
Commissioning of BESS capacity at FDRE Project
ACME Solar has commissioned first phase of BESS capacity of 53.73 MW / 222.969 MWh FDRE Project. This FDRE Project is located at Neemri village in Tehsil Rawatbhata District Chittorgarh, Rajasthan and connected to Neemuch substation. The Project has a 25-year power purchase agreement with a National REIA. The complete BESS capacity of this project is expected to be commissioned within the current financial year.
Commissioning of Phase III BESS capacity of FDRE (Assured Peak Power) Project
ACME Solar has commissioned another 53.63 MW / 214.52 MWh of Assured Peak Power Project. With this commissioning, the total BESS capacity of 159.58 MW / 638.32 MWh has been achieved under this Project. Located at Kelan village in Bikaner, Rajasthan, it is connected to Bikaner III substation. This Project has a 25-year power purchase agreement with a National REIA. The BESS capacity for full 300 MW Project is expected to be commissioned within the current financial year.
